The data provided to Sigel Group Italy S.p.a. in relation to the establishment of the contractual relationship with the same Sigel Group Italy S.p.a.  and / or provided the website accessible at (hereafter “Site”) when registering on the Site and / or for the use of the services provided from time to time by Sigel Group Italy S.p.a. , including those accessible in the reserved area of ​​the Site (hereinafter the “Services”) will be treated in compliance with the provisions on the protection of personal data. 1. Data controller

1.1 The data controller is Sigel Group Italy S.p.a. (hereafter “Sigel Group” or Data Controller “), with registered office in Via I Maggio n°85, 50053 Empoli (FI).

2. Type of data processed and purpose of processing

2.1. Personal data is processed, whereby personal data is understood to mean all information about a natural person that can also be identified or identified indirectly by reference to other information. The data that are processed are : a)the data provided to the Data Controller in relation to the contractual relationship with Sigel Groupb)  the data provided when requesting the supply of the Service, such as, for example, name and surname, e-mail address, residential or home address, tax code, telephone, fax, bank details, IP address; c)  the data provided for sending your application for job positions offered by the Sigel Group through the appropriate section of the Site, such as personal data (name, surname, gender, date of birth, nationality, postal address, telephone number , e-mail), data relating to education, professional experience, IT and language knowledge of the user;  d) the data provided by the user on the occasion of other contacts with the Data Controller (name, surname, e-mail address, professional position)  e)  the data collected by Sigel Group while browsing the Site, such as IP address, information acquired through cookies. 2.2  The processing of the user’s / customer’s personal data has the following purposesa)  for the carrying out and continuation of the contractual relationship with the Sigel Group, for example to allow the management of the contractual services requested, the invoicing of the services provided, as well as for the fulfillment of the obligations established by law, by a regulation or by legislation Community and for the exercise of their rights in court; b) for sending, via e-mail and paper mail of the user / customer, commercial proposals relating to and / or connected to the Gruppo Sigel Services, for sending advertising material relating exclusively to the aforementioned products or services, of the Sigel Group newsletter – invitations to conferences, information relating to the intellectual property sector, communications relating to market opportunities related to the management of intangible assets (such as trademarks, patents, models) and / or for carrying out research on market.

3. Mandatory / optional nature of providing data

3.1 The provision of data requested at the time of the establishment of the contractual relationship with the Sigel Group and / or upon registration on the Site or the activation of the Services for the purposes referred to in section 2.2a above, is mandatory, as strictly functional to the performance of contractual services, the Services themselves and for the execution of legal obligations. Any refusal to provide data makes it impossible for Sigel Group to fulfill its contractual services, to complete the registration process on the Site and / or therefore to provide the Services. 3.2  The user / customer may at any time refuse consent to the processing of data for the purposes referred to in section 2.2B above, either by using the opt-out system included in each communication, or by sending an e-mail to the address The refusal of consent for the purpose of section 2.2B will not have any consequence on the provision of contractual services and / or services. Therefore the user / customer can, in any case, take advantage of the services and services of the Sigel Group.


4. Processing methods

4.1 The data of the user / customer are collected electronically and or via physical media, when establishing the contractual relationship with the Sigel Group, registering on the Site, activating the Services, including through the crossing of data or parts of data, as well as through the use of the e-mail service.  4.2 The user / customer data will be processed through registration, consultation, communication, storage, cancellation operations, carried out with the aid of electronic tools and manually, ensuring the use of suitable measures for the security of the data processed and ensuring the confidentiality of the same.  4.3 The user / customer data, stored on electronic / magnetic / IT media, is kept and archived on a server located in Italy; personal data stored on paper will be stored in special registers and / or cards, whose conservation will be implemented by archiving in special containers, kept in special rooms. Sigel Group declares that the data stored on the server and / or in specific rooms are protected against the risk of intrusion and unauthorized access and that it has also adopted suitable security measures to guarantee the integrity and availability of the data as well as the protection of the areas and premises relevant to their safekeeping and accessibility.  4.4 Personal data will be processed by collaborators and / or employees of the Sigel Group as managers, or within their respective functions and in accordance with the instructions given by the Sigel Group. The list of managers is available upon demand at the request of the concerned party


5. Personal data disclosure

5.1 The concerned personal data may be communicated to specific subjects, for the execution of the contractual relationship with the Sigel Group, for the performance of the requested Services and for the fulfillment of legal requirement. The data processed will not be disclosed.


6. Rights of the concerned party

6.1 The concerned party has the right to obtain, at any time, confirmation of the presence of his personal data, and of the purposes for which the data are processed. The interested party also has the right to request the updating, correction, cancellation or blocking of data and to object to their treatment in whole or in part.  6.2 The privacy rights of the data subject are illustrated below. In particular: 6.2.1 The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation that his or her personal data is being processed, and to obtain access to personal data and the following subsequent. 6.2.2 The interested party has the right to obtain the indication: a) the origin of personal data; b) the purposes and methods of treatment; c) the logic applied in case of treatment carried out with the aid of electronic instruments; d) the identity of the data controller, as well as the manager and the owner’s representative if present; e) the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who can learn about them as appointed representative in the territory of the State, managers or agents. 6.2.3 The interested party has the right to obtain; a) updating, rectification or, when interested, integration of data;  b) the cancellation of personal data without undue delay, the transformation into anonymous form or the blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including those which need not be kept for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently treated;  c) the attestation that the operations referred to in letters a) and b) above have been brought to the attention, also concering their content, of those to whom the data have been communicated or disseminated, except in the case in which this fulfillment proves to be impossible or involves a use of means clearly disproportionate respect to the protected right . 6.2.4  The interested party has the right to object, in whole or in parta) for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning him, as well as pertinent to the purpose of the collection; b)  to the processing of personal data concerning him for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or for carrying out market research or commercial communication. 6.2.5  The interested party also has the right: a)  to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Privacy Guarantor); b) to receive personal data supplied to Sigel Group in a commonly used and easily readable format and has the right to transmit such data to another data controller without hindrance; c)  to obtain a limitation of processing operations from the data controller. 6.3   To exercise the aforementioned rights, as well as to receive information relating to the subjects to whom the data are communicated or to the subjects who, even as managers, may become aware of the data, the interested party may contact Sigel Group, sending this a request using the contact details indicated in the epigraph.


7. Duration of treatment

7.1 The processing of personal data with reference to the purpose referred to in the section 2.2.A will have a duration equal to that of the contractual relationship established with the Sigel Group, to which the additional period (10 years) provided in compliance with the civil, tax and tax obligations in force will be added. 7.2 The processing of personal data with reference to the purpose referred to in the section 2.2.B will have a duration of 24 months from the date of consent 7.3  At the end of the data processing period, the latter will be deleted, or permanently anonymized.

8. Legal basis of the processing

8.1 The legal basis of the processing is the contractual relationship, the legitimate interest of the owner and the provisions of the law.

9. Updates to the Privacy Policy

9.1 This Privacy Policy is subject to occasional revisions. If changes to the treatment are introduced, Sigel Group will give appropriate communication to the interested party, also by publishing the changes on the Site. Where required by current legislation, the interested party will have the right to give his consent to any new treatments.

10. Transfer abroad

10.1 The personal data of the interested party will not be transferred to non-EU countries.
